Vin de pays du Val de Loire

 

  • Chardonnay et Sauvignon
Soil with few stones with the texture between silty-sandy-clayey and silty-clayey. 
The vines are rooted in colluvion altérite of schist d'Angers de l'Ordovicien. 
This type of soil is ideally for the Chardonnay and the Sauvignon grape varieties (light, fresh,and fruity).

Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée

 

  • Anjou Blanc « Roches des Rochelles »
Stone free soil with the texture silty-claye y-sandy on the surface and clayey underneath.
The vines are rooted in alterite of slate schist d'Angers de l'Odovicien. 
This type of soil is ideally suited for it givy mineral flavours and good balance to the Anjou Blanc.

Anjou Villages Brissac

  • « Breton »
Stony soil with a texture silty-sandy-clayey with a clayey sub-soil. 
The vines are rooted in alteration of slate schist d'Angers.
The earliness and the clayey underneath of the soil bring smoothness and roundness.


  • « La Croix de Mission »Soil of la Croix de Mission
Soil sometimes with ondulation with a lighter texture sandy-silty in silty-sandy clayey.
The vines are rooted in schist greseux ocre rouille d'Angers.
The presence of stones on the surface and a mixture of gravel of schist and of earth in the sub-soil brings a rare maturity and balance (neither green nor to strong in tanin) to the Cabernet Sauvignon. The latter being a grape variety which is still not widely grown in Loire Valley. And is only grow well in certain greater specific terroir.


  • « Les Millerits »
Soil moderatly stony with with a texture silty-sandy-clayey of avarage deep. 
The vines are rooted in stony middle with green friable schist, pink and "brique d'Angers".
This terroir brings a more full-bodied and with a bigger structure than « La Croix de Mission » which lents itselfs to do ageing in oak-barrel.

Coteaux de l'Aubance

Soil of Coteaux de l'AubanceSoil quite stony (slate schist grey and blue).
The vines are rooted in stony middle of slate schist d'Angers de l'Ordovicien.
The slate schist gives the mineral flavour and brings fresh nose and finess whilst having the sweetness of sweet wine.

Crémant de Loire

The terroir as the same caracteristic of Chardonnay and Anjou Blanc.
