AOC - Organic wine

VINIFICATION

Harvest : Machine for younger vines (manual sorting and selection carried out in the cellar)

Vinification : Pellicular maceration for 12 hours before pressing. Alcoholic fermentation

Ageing : Matured in stainless steel tanks for 7 months


VINEYARD

Region : Loire – Zone Coteaux de l'Aubance

Climat : Oceanic climate. Northerly exposure

Grape variety : Cabernet Franc 90% Cabernet Sauvignon 10%  

Average age of vines : 25 years

Yield : 55 hectolitres per hectare

Attractive robe with coral highlights

Generous nose with very subtle floral notes of rose, tea and red fruit preserves.

Smooth at the start, aromatic and persistent. Good balance with volume, structure and freshness.


PREPARING AND SERVING   

The Cabernet d'Anjou of Domaine des Rochelles is a perfect accompaniment to grills or barbecues, summer salads and melon, strawberries, sorbets. It can also be served chilled as an aperitif.

Rosé de Loire and Cabernet d'Anjou are wines to be enjoyed now.
